Conference Updates – OLD
The annual meeting of IALJS is an international conference devoted to the scholarly study, teaching, and practice of literary journalism. The deadline for submission of research papers, abstracts, and panel proposals for the conference is around the turn of the year, and the two-and-a-half day event, open to faculty and students, is traditionally held in mid-May. In addition, IALJS actively participates in the conferences of a number of other learned societies, sponsoring sessions focusing on related aspects of literary journalism.

IALJS has established a competitive Student Travel Fund to assist in funding student travel; applications available upon acceptance of submission. Applicants need to complete and submit the following form by March 31, 2025: Application for Student Travel Fund Award – 2025
Conference Payments
Conference payments can be made by logging in to EasyChair, the platform used in the conference submission process. Pre-registration fees must be paid on or before March 31, 2025. Participants will need to provide proof that they have paid their annual membership.
